Maintenance Technician II

Role Description :

The electromechanical maintenance technician performs electrical (including PLC-assisted) and mechanical maintenance operations. This person will be part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for routine, extraordinary, and preventative maintenance of industrial systems, with a focus on electronics. They will collaborate with the team to ensure proper functioning of production lines, responding promptly to faults and applying tools for problem definition (5Ws), analysis (Ishikawa or the 5 Whys), and resolution.

Upon completion of interventions, they will prepare technical reports using the company's maintenance software.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine electrical and electromechanical maintenance on industrial systems and machinery
  • Participate in extraordinary maintenance activities
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults, including using PLCs
  • Perform troubleshooting and restore production lines to working order
  • Conduct tests and checks to ensure repaired equipment functions properly
  • Collaborate with external contractors
  • Implement improvement solutions in collaboration with the team
  • Compile technical documentation related to work performed
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Analyze faults for problem resolution and prevention
  • Manage work on the company's CMMS IT system

Requirements :

  • Technical diploma (preferably in electrical, electronic, or mechatronic fields)
  • Previous experience as an electromechanical maintenance technician in industrial settings
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial electrical systems
  • PLC diagnostics skills (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or equivalent)
  • Proficient in computer packages (Office)
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and operational autonomy
  • Continuous learning and professional growth orientation
  • Availability to work shifts and/or on call
  • Adherence to safety regulations
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze and manage problems systematically
  • Effective interaction at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
