Our Automotive Client in Warren, MI is seeking a dedicated and motivated Maintenance Technician. Apply today!

Pay Rate : $30.00 / hr

Shift : 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday (with some weekends), 5:00 pm to 5:00 am

Shift - C Crew : FRI & SAT = 5:00 am - 5:00 pm, SUN & MON = 5:00 pm - 5:00 am

Responsibilities :

• Train and mentor other technicians to ensure performance and safety standards.
• Assist maintenance supervisor in identifying training needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Manage job rotation, lead pre-production exercises, and oversee 5S implementation.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Operate power tools and fabricate parts for repairs and upgrades.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks, and prepare maintenance reports.
• Support engineering and other departments as needed.
• Learn and operate all automated equipment, including PLCs, RFID, sensors, and robotics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support quality and efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and enhance automation processes.

Qualifications :

• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Less than four (4) occurrences as of the posting closing date.
• No active corrective actions beyond verbal warnings.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of JIT processes and JTDS.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible with shift and line assignments.
