As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Marcallo con Casone (MI) plant . Together, we work on Payment Card Personalization processes and techonolgies.

About Your Future Role

In this position, you will:

  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electronic, and software faults to minimize machine downtime;
  • Have responsability of preventive and corrective maintenance of specific machinery (Datacard, Kern, Boewe, Modula, ILMAG, Matica);
  • Manage spare parts, including defining needs, procurement, and inventory control;
  • Define and execute the preventive maintenance plan;
  • Coordinate and supervise interventions by external suppliers;
  • Manage the spare parts warehouse;

Essential Qualifications

Proven experience as a maintenance technician for industrial machines.

Required Skills Electronics And Mechatronics

  • In-depth knowledge of electronic circuits, sensors, actuators, and control systems;
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams;
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults;

IT and Software

  • Familiarity with operating systems, machine control software, and databases;
  • Ability to perform software updates and resolve connectivity issues;
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and computer networks;

Mechanical Maintenance

  • Use of measuring tools, assembly, and disassembly;
  • Knowledge of lubrication, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical components;
  • Maintenance of motors, transmissions, and handling systems

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving skills and teamwork;
  • Precision and attention to detail;
  • Availability for scheduled and extraordinary maintenance interventions;
  • Continuous updating on new technologies;
  • Knowledge of the English language;

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of printing technologies (thermal, inkjet, laser) and encoding (magnetic stripes, EMV chips, contactless);
  • Familiarity with feeding, folding, inserting, and sealing envelope systems;
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to the use of industrial machinery;
  • Manufacturer certifications (Datacard, Kern, Boewe, Modula, ILMAG, Matica);
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations (Machinery Directive);
  • Industry standards for payment card production (ISO);
  • Knowledge of materials (PVC, PET, paper, etc.);
