The Social Hub in Firenze is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our hotel running smoothly, servicing guests, students, and teammates with reliable, hands-on fixes. You’ll work alongside the Maintenance Manager, taking ownership and stepping in where needed to ensure safety and comfort.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and enjoyment of fixing things yourself.
• Calm under pressure and able to solve problems on the spot.
• Independent worker who also collaborates well with a close-knit team.
• Flexible with tasks, schedules, and changing priorities.
• Fluent Italian and a professional, guest-friendly attitude.

• Handle day-to-day maintenance issues across the hotel, from plumbing and lighting to locks and small repairs.
• Complete daily walkarounds and keep indoor and outdoor areas clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks to spot issues before they become problems.
• Tackle minor painting and cosmetic fixes when things need a refresh.
• Support and coordinate external contractors when specialist work is needed.
• Keep an eye on stock levels for tools, materials, and spare parts.
