Position Summary

Tetra Pak Closure Italy S.r.l., based in Sezzadio (AL), is seeking a motivated and skilled Utilities Technician to join the maintenance team at the Sezzadio plant. The role involves managing and maintaining utility systems supporting production, with a particular focus on energy efficiency and plant reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain utility systems: perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on key production systems such as screw compressors (90250 kW), chillers for water/air cooling, raw material distribution systems, and vacuum systems.
  • Energy analysis and optimization: collect and analyze energy consumption data, identify anomalies, and propose corrective and improvement actions to enhance energy efficiency.
  • Use of management systems: operate with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module for maintenance activities.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: liaise with maintenance managers, team leaders, technical staff, and production operators to ensure proper system functioning.
  • Manage external suppliers and specialized contractors for technical interventions, coordinating on-site activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Educational qualification: Technical diploma or technical qualification, preferably with basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Technical skills: Basic understanding of industrial utility systems and ability to perform energy analyses.
  • Preferred experience: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as WCM (World Class Manufacturing) or Lean Manufacturing.
