As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that equipment, tools, and machine tools are in good condition for use. Proposing plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
  • Exchanging data and information regarding interaction concerns and improvements in products, processes and procedures.
  • Handling standardized manufacturing processes and guidelines for choosing the right actions. Some latitude in ways of working and planning.
  • Coordinating and verifying the work of external contractors.
  • Analyzing and diagnosing the cause of malfunctions, failures, and repetitive manufacturing problems and recommending and implementing proper corrective actions.
  • Liaising with production and colleagues from all functions, dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
  • Reading equipment manuals and understanding technical drawings such as P&ID, hydraulic schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams to quickly identify and find solutions for faults.
  • Understanding PLCs, ISO language programs, automation systems, and CNC.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be time served in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, or have an equivalent high school/college diploma.
  • Have proven experience in a similar role.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Have good problem-solving skills.
  • Be willing to work shifts – Day Shift, Evening Shift, and Nightshift.
