Job summary

Dematic in Cesena, Italy, is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to guide a team and oversee resident customer service activities at our distribution center in San Vittore di Cesena.

You will manage the start-up phase with an agile approach, coordinate a team of 8+ workers with the Site Manager, plan on-site maintenance and spare parts, attend stakeholder meetings, and report to the Site Manager while ensuring safety and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Curious towards logistics supply chain and industrial automation.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical and software engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in material handling environments with highly automated plants.
• Experience as Operation Supervisor/Site Supervisor/Site Manager or similar roles.
• Strong leadership and key role experience in a complex organization.
• Bachelor Degree or Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical studies.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the startup phase of the project with an agile approach.

• Plan and coordinate on-site maintenance, spare parts warehouse, and workshop activities.
• Design processes in line with the service contract with the Site Manager.
• Attend meetings with internal/external stakeholders and report on site tasks.
• Be a key player for customers and Dematic stakeholders; prioritize service activities to minimize business impact.
• Ensure system availability under service contract obligations; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Report directly to the Site Manager and collaborate with other departments.

Dematic is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead, to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Cesena. He/she will be working leading a group of people in order to manage and to control all the resident customer service activities to our Customer distribution Center in San Vittore di Cesena.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be 35.200 - 48.400 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

The Operation Supervisor is going to :

• Manage the start-up phase of the project with agile approach
• Coordinate a team of +8 workers together with Site Manager
• Plan and coordinate all on-site activities (preventive/corrective maintenance, spare parts warehouse management, workshop and repair activities) together with Site Manager
• Design process according with the service contract agreement together with Site Manager
• Attend planned periodical meetings (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) with internal/external stakeholders
• Draft Minute of meeting and site tasks report
• Be a key player for the Customer and for Dematic stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize service activities to minimize impact to the customer business
• Work with resident team in order to ensure the fully availability of the system under the service contract obligations
• Collaborate with other departments interacting continuously with his/her team on the work site
• Do periodically KPI analysis and write reports about the service activities
• Ensure a safe, secure and clean environment whilst ensuring that the project is delivered within the contractual obligations
• Maintain quality control and compliance procedures
• Report directly to Site Manager
