Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for our premises in Cesena. You will lead a team to manage all resident customer service activities at our distribution center, ensuring uptime under the service contract and coordinating with the Site Manager.

The role requires 3–5 years in material handling, strong leadership, and fluency in Italian and English. It offers a permanent contract, international exposure, and a comprehensive benefits package including a company-paid meal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or similar studies.
• 3–5 years of experience in material handling environment, e.g. highly automated plants.
• Experience as Operation Supervisor / Site Supervisor / Site Manager or similar.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage start-up phase of the project with an agile approach.
• Coordinate a team of +8 workers with the Site Manager.
• Plan and coordinate all on-site activities (maintenance, spare parts warehouse, repair).
• Design processes in line with the service contract with the Site Manager.
• Attend planned meetings with internal/external stakeholders.
• Draft meeting minutes and site task reports.
• Be a key player for the customer and stakeholders.
• Prioritize service activities to minimize business impact.
• Collaborate with resident team to ensure system availability under contract.
• Periodically KPI analysis and reporting on service activities.
• Maintain safe, secure, and clean environment while meeting obligations.
• Ensure quality control and compliance procedures.
• Report directly to Site Manager.
