Position Summary:
Respond to and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment such as tools and radios. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved communication protocols. Display basic knowledge or acquire knowledge in areas such as air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building maintenance. Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repairs, light bulb and A/C filter replacements, and cleanup of repair areas. Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items. Program TVs and perform inventory duties related to housekeeping and engineering. Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before maintenance. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinklers. Demonstrate basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature adjustments.

Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and ensure confidentiality. Welcome and assist guests according to standards, address service needs, and support guests with disabilities. Lift objects up to 50 pounds, work on stairs or ladders, and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching.
