Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

All about the role:

As maintenance manager you will develop and implement solutions for preventive maintenance and ensure prompt solutions to maintenance issues in a safety, lean and green environment.

What you will do:

You will report operationally and functionally to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and lead the Maintenance Team. You will also support the Engineering Manager to define the Maintenance budget and collaborate with Central Teams e.g. participation in Central Manufacturing Engineering, Green Spirit, Safety and other activities.

In detail, you will:

• Ensure that safety rules are known and respected
• Define Maintenance strategies, guidelines and objectives, controlling the implementation.
• Planning of Maintenance activities and it's coordination (internal and external)
• Provide guidelines for the definition of necessary spare parts and equipment to ensure the availability in accordance with the business requirements
• Active participation on developing of new equipment specifications in order to assure the flow of improvements
• Participation on acceptance test of new equipment.
• Creation of master data of all equipment in the maintenance system
• Define strategies for lean managing of Maintenance tasks
• Participation in the definition of strategies and criteria for management of contractors
• Active sharing of best practice solutions and implementation of best practice solutions locally.
• Perform technical and commercial risk assessment related to maintenance aspects.
• Introduction and controlling of performance indicators for Maintenance
• Control of cost that are inside maintenance responsibility in accordance with the annual budget

Who you are:

• Techincal Degree is mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance roles and at least 3 years of experience in leadership positions
• Experience in safety and risk management
• Knowledge of lean management
• knowledge of maintenance tools
• Good communication and presentation skills.

You will be based in Electrolux main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment. Here you will interact with different functions of the organization such as Quality, Maintenance, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain with the common goal to create the refrigeration of the future.
