Maintenance Helper

Our client, Harsco Rail is seeking a Maintenance Helper at $22.70 to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Job Title: Maintenance Helper

Location: Ludington, MI

Pay Range: $22.70 an hour

What’s the Job?

• Applicant must have the ability to learn the assembly and functions of the various machines and have the ability to assemble from prints and sketches.
• Must be in good health and physically fit to withstand outside work in all weather and work under and on top of the various machines.
• The Company will require physical exams where deemed necessary.
• Flexibility to move inventory, if needed.
• Applicant must be capable of working from complicated wiring diagrams for assembling cable assemblies and electrical subassemblies.
• Working knowledge of soldering procedures for quality products.
• Requires ability to troubleshoot from wiring diagrams to determine wiring error component failure.
• Must have electrical background or experience and/or mechanical experience or background.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years hands-on training in Electrical or Electronics and/or Mechanical.
