Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Maintenance Gardener to care for the property's gardens in Italy, using tools provided by the hotel in a safe and environmentally responsible way. This role requires attention to sustainable landscaping and collaboration with hotel teams.

The Maintenance Gardener will ensure high standards and sustainable practices throughout the grounds, and will work with hotel staff to keep outdoor spaces attractive for guests.

Qualifications

• College degree in landscaping or environmental field.
• Three years operating experience in gardening/landscaping.
• Familiar with landscaping, climates and gardening.
• Good level of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform gardening tasks with environmental care using hotel tools safely and professionally.
• Maintain hotel gardening tools and store them securely after use.
• Clean work areas after tasks and report hazards promptly.

What will be your mission?

As Maintenance Gardener, you will be responsible for all the gardening duties within the scope of the hotel, with care and concern for the environment of the property.

What will you do?

• Responsible to conduct gardening duties with care and concern for the environment of the property by using the tools provided by the hotel in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintain and look after the tools supplied by the hotel and correctly deposit them after finishing work.
• Clean all work areas after finishing assigned tasks and report potential dangers as soon as possible.

What are we looking for?

• College degree in landscaping or agricultural or environmental.
• Three years operating experience in gardening/landscaping.
• Familiar with landscaping, climates and gardening.
• Good level of English both verbal and written.
