Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Overhaul Maintenance Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks, from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Napoli, Italy.

Accountabilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise cyclical and corrective maintenance activities for high-speed trains.
2. Ensure compliance with scheduled maintenance timelines and deadlines.
3. Liaise with suppliers.
4. Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
5. Manage maintenance personnel by assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
6. Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
7. Prepare and update technical documentation related to maintenance activities.
8. Implement and monitor continuous improvement plans.
9. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
10. Supervise and coordinate technical teams.
11. Plan and manage maintenance activities.
12. Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills.
13. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

1. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
3. Strong team and project management skills.
4. Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
5. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
6. Knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.

Desired Skills / Knowledge:

1. Previous experience in coordination or management roles.
2. Proficiency in maintenance management software and data analysis.

Education / Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or at least 10 years of experience in railway maintenance.

Languages (optional):

1. Italian: Advanced level (mandatory for all production-related positions).
2. English: Intermediate to advanced level (preferred).
