Overview

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Overahaul Maintenance coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Napoli - IT.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate and supervise cyclical and corrective maintenance activities for high-speed trains.
  • Ensure compliance with scheduled maintenance timelines and deadlines.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Manage maintenance personnel by assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation related to maintenance activities.
  • Implement and monitor continuous improvement plans.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills / Knowledge
  • Proven experience in maintenance.

  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.
Desired Skills / Knowledge
  • Previous experience in coordination/management roles.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and data analysis.
Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, OR at least 10 years of experience in the railway maintenance sector.
Languages (optional)
  • Italian: advanced level (mandatory for all production-related positions).
  • English: intermediate/advanced level (preferred).
