Responsibilities :

• Complete work orders including changing light bulbs, AC filters, painting, plumbing, light carpentry, sheetrock repairs, and other general maintenance duties
• Assist with maintenance of community areas, grounds, fences, parking, ditches, community houses, pools, spas, furniture, appliances, HVAC, and lift stations
• Maintain service and power equipment, tools, and kitchen equipment
• Keep preventative maintenance records and use work order systems for tracking repairs
• Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Promote safety by identifying and resolving hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements :

• At least 6 months of experience handling residential maintenance tasks
• Experience with sheetrock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance
• Understanding of building and fire safety protocols
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills in English with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, reaching, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting 50-100 lbs
• Availability after hours and willingness to obtain a valid driver’s license if needed
