As a Mainframe, Enterprise Architect, you will collaborate with some of the world’s leading Mainframe companies to help achieve their business goals through strategic technology implementation. Your responsibilities include aligning our customers’ business needs with their IT strategies using architectural models and views to create clear, agile, and sustainable solutions. Key duties involve supporting platform offerings, delivering high-quality solutions, planning and achieving business development goals, supporting customers on TCO, and maintaining relationships with C-level stakeholders and global teams.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years as a Mainframe Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of IBM Z Hardware and lifecycle (IBM Z1x)
• Experience with Hybrid Cloud platforms, containers, microservices, and DevOps on Mainframe
• Understanding of Hardware capacity planning and major Mainframe subsystems (zOS, DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, RACF, etc.)
• Familiarity with new Mainframe technologies like ZOWE, Operations Analytics, zOS Container Extensions
• High-level understanding of zVM and zLinux, including workload management tools
• Knowledge of software licensing (IPLAs, MLC), system architectures, networks, and design principles
• Experience with Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud architectures
• Strong architectural thinking and solution design skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
