International Monetary Fund seeks a Macroeconomic Frameworks Resident Advisor for the SEETAC in Rome, Italy. You will deliver TA, build forecasting models, and coordinate with central banks and ministries to strengthen macroeconomic policy analysis.

The role involves developing projects, engaging with development partners, and aligning with IMF teams. Requires advanced economics degree and substantial forecasting experience; May 1, 2027 start in Rome.

Competenze

• Postgraduate degree in Economics or related field.
• Experience in macroeconomic forecasting with IMF-style financial programming.
• Proven ability to deliver capacity development and training.

Mansioni

• Deliver TA and training on macroeconomic frameworks to support forecasting and policy decisions.
• Develop medium-term projects and annual workplans with authorities and partners.
• Coordinate with development partners to ensure aligned advice and avoid duplication.
• Contribute to SEETAC work program and reporting.
• Report to SEETAC Director and work with IMF teams and STX.
