Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Monfalcone is seeking a Machining Support Operator to assist machining operations by handling, positioning, and moving components for machine tools. You will report to the Metal Works Manager and work on-site in Monfalcone.

The role requires at least 2 years of fitting/assembly/machine operation experience, fluency in Italian and English (min B1), and willingness to work three shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or Machine Operator.
• Able to work in three shifts: Mon-Fri – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, position, and align components on machine tools.
• Perform deburring and edge-breaking activities.
• Protect components from damage, deformation, or deterioration.
• Ensure traceability information are correctly applied.
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).
