Job Title: Machining Manufacturing Engineer

As a Machining Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the Engineering Department in all activities related to CNC programming.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located in Italy. This is a 100% on-site position at our plant in Monfalcone.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design and develop mechanical processing phases, assessing the use of special equipment to be manufactured or purchased.
2. Evaluate the movements of components related to machinery activities, providing support for safety aspects related to the handling of parts.
3. Estimate the time for single or series processing, considering setup times, alignment, tool contact, and downtime.
4. Develop CNC programs, including tool path simulation and management.
5. Collaborate with CNC programmers to suggest improvements in methodologies.
6. Support programmers with specific problems and find solutions, possibly involving external suppliers and technicians.
7. Follow the development and customization of software to improve the output of the CAM department.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical High School Diploma with 10 years of experience.
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a CNC programmer, with a good understanding of technical drawings, complex structures, chip removal processes, and materials used in mechanical environments.
• Expertise in CAD and CAM software.
• Proficiency in Italian and English languages.
