Description
The opportunity
As Machinery Safety Engineer, you will report directly to the HUB HSE Manager (Europe) and act as a technical lead and subject matter expert for machine risk assessment, functional safety for machinery, and machine safeguarding according to industry standards (regional/local) and internal business standards.
We seek a professional with a holistic view who understands the complexities of change and project management processes. You will collaborate closely with regional and factory operations teams, actively participating in decision-making to advise and support the implementation of safety-critical controls for industrial machinery capital projects and upgrades.
You will lead efforts in identifying and sharing best practices, evaluating, and developing local machine safety competencies.
