A manufacturing company in Cuneo, Italy, is seeking a technician to ensure moulding machines operate to specifications. Responsibilities include quality checks, maintenance, and reporting defects. Candidates should have experience in fast-paced production environments and good communication skills. Training on specific machinery will be provided.

Competenze

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous experience operating or running machinery; training on specific ALPLA machinery will be provided.
• Exposure to plastic manufacturing processes is advantageous but not essential.

Mansioni

• Ensure moulding machines are in good working order; report defects.
• Check production quality at the packing station and complete paperwork.
• Maintain moulding machines and work area to a high standard.

Descrizione del lavoro

To ensure that the moulding machines run to the specifications established by the Technician Department and that the containers are produced according to the customer's agreed specifications. Additionally, focus on minimizing downtime and scrap levels.

Tasks & responsibilities :

• Ensure that moulding machines and ancillary equipment are in good working order. Report any defects to supervision and carry out remedial work as instructed, within the technician's level of competence.
• Ensure that products arriving at the packing station meet acceptable quality standards. This involves regular checks on production quality, including visual faults, weight, and filling, and correctly completing all relevant paperwork.
• Remove, clean, refit, realign, or carry out other necessary adjustments to parts of moulding machines within the technician's competence, including work on heads, tooling, blowpins, blades, and ancillary equipment.
• Maintain a constant supply of raw materials by changing over bins. Report to supervision if a usable bin is not available before a problem occurs on the machine.
• Maintain the moulding machines, ancillary equipment, and immediate work area to a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness at all times.

Skills / Experience :

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous experience operating or running machinery; training on specific ALPLA machinery will be provided.
