Machine Operator – Walton KY

Hours are rotating: 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. Will be rotating days and nights every 8 weeks (schedule will be provided).

Pay rate: $21.10/hour.

Must have HSD/GED. Temp to hire opportunity. Must have steel toes.

Looking for candidates with machining background.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure a quality product by performing checks and inspections as defined in visual work instructions and SOPs.
2. Proper and efficient handling of materials and associated work orders to ensure product traceability.
3. Monitor equipment condition and perform basic daily equipment checks and cleaning.
4. Adhere to required housekeeping and safety requirements for the manufacturing areas within the facility.
5. Execute work processes as defined in visual work instructions and standard operating procedures.
6. Load and unload CNC machining center pallets and parts carriers.
7. Perform parts measurements and quality checks using digital height gauges and calipers; also go/no-go and thread gauges.
8. Enter work order confirmations in Traceability software.
9. Record measurement data in MMS/QC Gage databases.
10. Submit and support continuous improvement ideas to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
11. Identify downstream customers and understand their needs.
12. Follow all procedures related to safety, quality, process engineering, and facilities engineering.
13. Perform other related duties as required.
