Prometeia is looking for professionals to join the Data Science team, which supports the digital transformation of banks and insurance companies through the development of AI-intensive systems. These systems analyze heterogeneous and increasing data, emphasizing scalability, resilience, and adaptability for project success.

We seek candidates interested in advancing digital innovation for our clients. The ideal Data Engineers / Machine Learning Engineers will design, develop, and maintain highly scalable analytical systems, with some experience and a strong technical background demonstrated through previous projects.

Responsibilities :

• Develop machine learning prototypes and end-to-end solutions for real-time or batch data analysis
• Manage model lifecycle with MLOps techniques
• Develop automated testing, integration, deployment systems, and lifecycle management
• Create proactive monitoring systems
• Optimize performance and scalability of ML models
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy research models into production

Requirements :

Proficiency in Python

Knowledge of data structures and problem-solving skills

Ability to develop maintainable, robust, and scalable code, preferably with TDD approach

Experience with cloud PaaS and SaaS solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP), including designing cloud-native solutions with cost analysis

Knowledge of relational (Postgres) and document (MongoDB) databases

Experience with Docker containerization

Basic understanding of distributed systems

Experience with Git version control

Comfort working on Linux systems

Nice to Have :

Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Flink

Experience with ML and Data Science libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration

Familiarity with Triton Inference Server or similar for deploying high-performance ML models

Education :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with excellent grades in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields

Experience in a business context, preferably in finance or insurance, including internships
