A leading global construction company in Milan is seeking an experienced M&A and Asset Management Expert. You will evaluate investment opportunities, support due diligence, create financial models, and prepare strategic presentations. The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of experience in M&A or corporate development and holds a master’s degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in financial analysis and corporate finance is essential.

Webuild is seeking an M&A and Asset Management Expert to evaluate investment opportunities aimed at accelerating growth through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, restructuring, and reorganizations. The position is based in Milan (Milanofiori).

The candidate will develop a deep understanding of emerging trends and market dynamics, gather industry intelligence, and execute potential transactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess investment opportunities across existing and new / adjacent markets.
• Support all phases of the due diligence process, coordinating with internal departments and external advisors.
• Create and maintain financial models for potential targets, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Prepare executive-level strategic and financial presentations for review meetings and investment committees.
• Assist in integration efforts for acquisitions in collaboration with internal departments.
• Map and monitor M&A transactions to enhance market understanding.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in M&A boutiques, consulting firms, Corporate M&A, or Corporate Development teams.
• Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering (with a focus on Finance).
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, corporate finance, and business law.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Motivated, strategic thinker, proactive, detail-oriented.
• Ability to work proactively in a team within a flexible and dynamic environment.
