The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, part of Marriott International, is offering a full-time Reservations Intern position in Venice. The role provides an internship with a 40-hour week and opportunities for professional growth in a luxury environment.

You will shadow tutors, learn the company and hotel organization, and support reservation processes while developing skills in guest service and revenue optimization.

Competenze

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Hospitality or humanities.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or Email.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type.
• Verify availability of room type and rate.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests.
• Answer questions about facilities/services and room accommodations.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Input and access data in reservation system.
• Indicate special room reservation types by code and rate in the system.
• Follow escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
