Auberge Collection is seeking a Painter for Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Collection in Florence to maintain and restore painting and finishing across the property. You will ensure color schemes align with design standards and deliver high-quality finishes that enhance guest experience.

Requirements include at least 1 year in painting or maintenance, knowledge of paints and finishing products, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and the application of paints, stains, varnishes, enamels, and other finishing products.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality finishes that reflect the aesthetic standards of the property.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and restore painted surfaces in line with the property's colour schemes and design.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by applying primers or sealers to wood and metal.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishing products to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, stripping, or wire brushing as needed.
• Remove existing finishes and prepare surfaces for new coatings.
• Protect surrounding surfaces and display appropriate signage during maintenance works.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors or finishes to obtain desired results.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure consistency across all property areas.
• Clean, maintain, and store painting tools and materials after use.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Manager.
