Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Collection in Florence is seeking a dedicated Painter to maintain the property’s painted surfaces, ensuring alignment with luxury standards and brand colours. You will apply primers, finishes, and coatings, prepare surfaces, coordinate with vendors, and help preserve the hotel’s historic and elegant interiors.

A minimum of 1 year in painting or maintenance in luxury settings is required, with weekend/holiday flexibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of painting or maintenance experience in luxury settings preferred.
• Solid knowledge of paints, stains, varnishes, enamels and finishes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and restore the property’s painted and finished surfaces.
• Apply primers or sealers to new surfaces before finishing coats.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel and other finishes to surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, stripping, or wire brushing.
• Remove existing finishes when required before applying new coatings.
• Protect surrounding surfaces and equipment; ensure signage during works.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors and finishes as needed.
• Maintain high attention to detail for consistency across the property.
• Clean, store, and care for painting tools and materials.
• Report serious maintenance issues to the Manager promptly.
