Leap29 is seeking an experienced Living Quarters Construction Superintendent to oversee the delivery of LQ modules across fabrication, installation and commissioning for offshore projects in Italy. This role sits at the heart of execution, ensuring safe, high‑quality accommodation facilities.

The successful candidate will manage yard and site construction activities, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with HSE and project specifications (NORSOK, SOLAS, IMO, ABS, DNV).

Competenze

• Degree-qualified with 8+ years' offshore Living Quarters experience.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.

Mansioni

• Managing day‑to‑day construction activities for the LQ module at yard or site.
• Supervising multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and telecoms.
• Overseeing fit‑out, finishes, furnishings, insulation, and architectural elements.
• Coordinating installation of critical systems including HVAC, firefighting, PA/GA, lighting, and lifesaving equipment.
• Working closely with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitoring progress, participating in coordination meetings, and resolving site issues.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards (e.g. NORSOK, SOLAS, IMO, ABS, DNV).
• Enforcing HSE requirements including PTW, confined space, scaffolding, and hot work controls.
• Supporting mechanical completion, punch listing, pre‑commissioning, and handover activities.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced LQ Construction Superintendent to oversee the delivery of Living Quarters modules across fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases. This role sits at the heart of execution, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery of accommodation facilities within complex oil & gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing day‑to‑day construction activities for the LQ module at yard or site.
• Supervising multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and telecoms.
• Overseeing fit‑out, finishes, furnishings, insulation, and architectural elements.
• Coordinating installation of critical systems including HVAC, firefighting, PA/GA, lighting, and lifesaving equipment.
• Working closely with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitoring progress, participating in coordination meetings, and resolving site issues.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards (e.g. NORSOK, SOLAS, IMO, ABS, DNV).

Qualifications

• Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) with 8+ years' relevant experience.
• Strong background in offshore Living Quarters or similar facilities.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction scopes.
• Good understanding of offshore habitability, fire safety, and escape systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Confident communicator with solid reporting ability.
