**The role you’ll contribute:**

**GENERAL SUMMARY:**

To deliver medical/surgical nursing care to all patients. Works with the RN to assess patient needs, plan, deliver and coordinate care and reassess/evaluate care.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:**

+ Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.

Qualifications

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

+ Must be enrolling or planning to complete an RN program within 5 years

**LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:**

+ BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment.

+ Current Georgia LPN License
