A leading tax refund company in Italy is seeking a Customer Experience Ambassador to provide exceptional service and facilitate refunds for international travelers. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and Russian, have experience in retail or service, and possess strong interpersonal skills. This role is perfect for university students looking to gain experience in a multicultural environment while pursuing studies.
Nature and aim of the position
As an ambassador of GB Lounge added value services, the holder of the position is responsible for welcoming and engaging travellers, achieving exceptional standards of customer care excellence, and providing a unique and exclusive customer experience. He/she ensures consistent and outstanding customer service in line with the quality and excellence standards of Global Blue.
Additionally, he/she will refund (cash & non-cash) Global Blue Tax Free Cheques and assist travellers with customs clearance procedures.
This position is particularly suitable for university students with native-level proficiency in Russian who wish to gain valuable work experience in a multicultural environment while pursuing their academic studies.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Reporting lines: Report to the Coordinator and Lounge Manager.
Background and education: Experience in retail or service industry; fluent in English (written & spoken); fluent in Russian; experience in cash handling and direct customer contact; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; service-oriented with a passion for engaging globe shoppers; problem-solving skills; willingness to work shifts.
Skills and competencies: Flexible, proactive, well-organized, able to work independently following guidelines; proficient in MS Office; dynamic, creative, and team-oriented.
