Job summary

Valeo Santena is offering a Logistics Trainee/Apprentice/VIE internship to work in a dynamic, multinational environment within the Site Supply Chain team.

You will learn to automate reporting, optimize material flows, and ensure ERP data integrity while contributing to packaging, BOM audits, and Lean projects in a cutting-edge automotive setting.

Qualifications

• Management/Logistic/Industrial degree or ongoing.
• Fluent Italian and English.
• Internship/trainee position in logistics preferred.

Mission:

Help us build a smarter, faster supply chain. We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to automate daily reporting, streamline physical logistics flows, and ensure our ERP data runs seamlessly.

What You Will Learn & Do

• Process Automation & Data Analytics: Support process automation, data consolidation, and stock efficiency tool management using advanced tools.
• Flow & Logistics Optimization: Analyze material flows and scheduling processes to accelerate physical throughput; assist in defining logistics protocols with Transportation Service Providers.
• Packaging Management: Help define Finished Goods and Component packaging specifications while qualifying supplier packaging.
• Continuous Improvement: Provide hands‑on support for plant operations and Lean projects (Value Stream Mapping, plant layout optimization, new project launches).
• ERP & Master Data: Review ERP (SAP) Master Data, perform BOM (Bill of Materials) audits, and update the Logistics Execution System.
