Job summary

HiTHIUM Energy Storage is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to manage the last-mile delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Italy and support logistics operations across Europe.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in international transport, knowledge of the Italian logistics market, and experience coordinating complex deliveries involving oversized, heavy or dangerous goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in international logistics or transport management.
• Experience with major freight forwarders or transport of oversized loads and dangerous goods in renewable energy is preferred.
• Strong understanding of international multimodal transport operations.
• Experience in logistics supplier management, cost control, transport incident resolution and claims handling.
• Proficiency in Excel and transport management systems (TMS) or logistics tracking platforms.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese, English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Based in Italy and support logistics activities across Europe.
• An established network of logistics providers in Italy or Europe would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate last-mile BESS deliveries, including transport solutions, resource allocation, shipment tracking and stakeholder communication.
• Identify, evaluate and manage logistics providers, including customs brokers, freight forwarders and transport companies, with a focus on the Italian market.
• Monitor supplier performance, service quality and transport costs to support reliable and efficient deliveries.
• Develop and implement delivery strategies covering multimodal transport, storage yards and final delivery to project sites.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to resolve transport disruptions, delivery issues and claims.
• Ensure transport arrangements comply with applicable Italian transport regulations, including MIT requirements for oversized loads and dangerous goods.
