Manages processes and controls to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and prevent supply chain disruptions. Develops and trains vendors on TJX policies and best practices. Ensures compliance with import regulations for the U.S., Canadian and Australian markets. Analyzes and identifies challenging vendors, implementing corrective actions. Establishes strong relationships with Corporate logistics groups.
Key Responsibilities
Provides training to vendors on TJX policies and best practices, ensuring adherence to import regulations for the U.S., Canadian and Australian markets.
Identifies and addresses issues with challenging vendors, implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance and performance standards.
Proactively work with the “added value” activities which can drive cost saving.
Work with the wider Logistics team to remedy supply chain issues for quick fixes and long-term solutions.
Manage daily communication with buyers and freight forwarder regarding shipments on hold due to business exceptions and/or origin issues.
Prioritize shipment and key deals by using reporting tools provided by the business as well as liaising with the other relevant distribution departments.
Partner with other Logistics Specialists as needed to ensure process alignment with best practices and expectations.
