Vergiate hosts the Avionics (AWS) domain. The activities of the AWS domain include front desk reparations for civil and military operators, support on the ground and in flight, and technical support for aircraft developers, operators, and maintenance centers.

JOB OBJECTIVE

The Supply Chain Officer at Thales Avionics Services Worldwide (Italy) will be responsible for activities related to the management of on-board reprogramming modules, from reception to delivery, including reprogramming activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Logistics Officer at Thales will have the following main missions:
• Receive all equipment arriving at the site, whether for programming or for consignment.
• Open packages, perform visual and document inspection according to company procedures.
• Open all associated files within our ERP system (SAP R3).
• Verify shipment bills, orders, and quality documents.
• Coordinate with central teams regarding activities to be performed: programming or consignment.
• Decide on activities to be performed (manage previsions).
• Perform programming activities as per decisions taken.
• Prepare quality documentation for equipment release.
• Perform all conditioning and packaging activities for shipped equipment.
• Prepare invoices.
• Conduct necessary controls and administrative operations related to shipment, and prepare all transportation documents for delivery.
• Interface with customs agents.
• Ensure shipment processes, liaising with transportation companies.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualifications: High school diploma with supply chain specialization (+2 or +3).
• Experience: First experience in supply chain activities is a plus; junior candidates accepted.
• Other skills: Proficiency with office suite, basic programming, familiarity with SAP is a plus, IT-savvy (both programming and ERP use), languages: Italian (fluent reading, writing, speaking), basic English, French (notions) is a plus, teamwork and adaptability, aeronautical culture appreciated.
• Qualities: Versatile (capable of performing different tasks), structured, organized, rigorous, curious, autonomous, reactive, proactive, and flexible.
