Excellence in Waterproofing, Roofing and Surfacing Technology

The Logistics Manager is responsible for all movement of raw material items and finished products in and out of the facilities, including properly handling damage claims and inspecting returned items. The Logistics Manager is also responsible for internal movement, storage, preservation, and maintaining traceability.

Essential Functions

  1. Supervise shipper(s) / receiver(s) employees. Expected to ship & receive as necessary.
  2. Ensure legal compliance with hazardous materials shipments both domestically and internationally.
  3. Develop and update departmental KPIs.
  4. Handle transport damage claims and related freight issues.
  5. Receive and inspect customer returns.
  6. Manage inventory.
  7. Use good business practices (cooperative, cordial, polite, courteous, and honest) in all activities.
  8. Abide by safety guidelines, report all accidents.
  9. Maintain reliability and attendance, begin work on time, adhere to schedule.
  10. Liaise with freight forwarding.
  11. Understand & comply with regulatory requirements, including export, import, warehousing, and hazmat shipping.
  12. Input and maintain inventory and shipments in ERP system.
  13. Manage release, freight, and customs clearance of shipped goods.
  14. Work effectively in a team.
  15. Meet deadlines and manage priorities.
  16. Ensure training and awareness of departmental employees.
  17. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Language skills: Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and write routine reports.
  • Technical ability: Proficient in basic math, computer literate, knowledge of hazmat shipping requirements (49 CFR, IMDG, TDS, ADR, IATA), and tariff codes.
  • Reasoning ability: Solve problems and interpret instructions.
