We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to support a major recycling facility project in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a sustainable initiative focused on waste reduction, circular economy principles, and environmental responsibility. Our client is a globally recognized company delivering a large-scale industrial project that requires strong logistics and supply chain expertise.

As Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, equipment, and personnel to support the project’s construction and execution phases. You will develop and manage logistics strategies, supply chain operations, and transport coordination, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency and mitigate risks.

This is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and implement cost-effective, streamlined logistics solutions. Your ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and transportation networks will be critical in maintaining timelines and ensuring that all materials and equipment arrive on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to support construction and operational activities.
• Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution of materials while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, construction, and site teams to anticipate supply chain requirements and prevent delays.
• Optimize inventory management, ensuring efficient material flow and minimizing waste.
• Conduct logistics risk assessments, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and freight providers to ensure service quality and adherence to project timelines.

The Ideal Candidate should be/have:

• Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management for large-scale industrial, construction, or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of freight, transportation networks, import/export regulations, and warehouse operations.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
