The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the internal warehouse and the external distribution center (operated by a 3PL). This role ensures logistics activities align with company goals and customer requirements, maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Internal Warehouse Management: Coordinate daily logistics operations, oversee customs clearances, manage inbound and outbound logistics, lead warehouse team, maintain inventory accuracy, optimize material flow and layout, promote automation and system-based processes.
  2. 3PL Management: Serve as primary contact for 3PL provider, ensure contract compliance, monitor performance via KPIs, conduct performance reviews, ensure compliance with cycle count policies, review headcount and resources.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as order fulfillment, revenue backlog, quality, and delivery, identify inefficiencies, lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Planning, Operations, Procurement, Transportation, Finance to ensure accurate order fulfillment, address issues, support new service capabilities, and implement process improvements.
  5. Reporting & Communication: Provide weekly/monthly performance reports to senior management, foster a culture of collaboration, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
  6. Qualifications: 7+ years in logistics/distribution, strong understanding of supply chain principles, experience with customs, proficiency in logistics systems (WMS, SAP TMS), project management skills.
  7. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field, certifications (APICS, CSCMP), experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
