STERIS is seeking a Logistics Intern to support the department in managing international shipments, warehouse activities and interactions with customers, suppliers, and other departments in line with local and international trade regulations.

Your main duties include planning inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring documentation compliance, and overseeing warehouse operations. A Bachelor's degree is required, with strong IT skills and an interest in logistics and transportation.

Position Summary

Logistics intern will support Logistics department in the management of international shipments, warehouse activities and relationships with customers, suppliers, and other departments in accordance with local and international trade regulations.

Main duties will focus on the planning of inbound/outbound shipments, documentation compliance and warehouse operations management.

Duties

• Assist Logistics team in organizing the inbound/outbound shipments and processes


• Providing general support and assistance to the logistics team


• Optimization of freight forwarding costs and service types


• Creating and reviewing reports of freight shipment, volumes and supplier service level


• Tracking and tracing of shipments


• Filing, archiving and transport documentation management

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

• Interest in logistics, supply chain, and international transportation.


• Knowledge of international trade regulations is considered a plus.


• Strong digital aptitude and proficiency with IT tools.


• Good organizational and communication skills.

Compensation

• Salary Range: 800€
