We're looking for an Industry, Logistics, Utilities & Facilities Buyer to join our Quality & Procurement Department at Nuvola, our HQ in Turin.

The role is responsible for managing the procurement of logistics services related to sea freight for raw materials and finished products on a global scale. It also involves ensuring end-to-end management of the Purchase-to-Pay process based on priorities and guaranteeing the service level to internal stakeholders by supporting business needs across the entire process chain.

  • Sharing logistics requirements with both the central Supply Chain team and international subsidiaries
  • Preparation, management, and execution of tenders and negotiations with suppliers (freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics service providers)
  • Implementation and management of contracts with various suppliers, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., Incoterms, IMO, FCL, LCL, etc.)
  • Drafting and management of purchase orders (purchase order lifecycle)
  • Atonomous management of negotiations processes in coordination with Category and Procurement Managers
  • Support for benchmarking, scouting, and trend analysis activities aimed at cost reduction and risk mitigation
  • Application of working methodologies aimed at operational efficiency
  • You have a Degree in Economics / Management
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in procurement, with a specific focus on managing maritime freight purchases
  • You have a good knowledge of the sea freight market and international transportation dynamics
  • Understanding of the main contractual aspects related to sea freight, such as customs documentation and import / export procedures
  • You're fluent in English - French knowledge is a plus
