EssilorLuxottica in Italy seeks a motivated intern to join the Group Logistics Intelligence team, supporting the Business Analytics & AI project streams and ongoing weekly operations.

The role prefers familiarity with Python and SQL, plus exposure to BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau; Italian and English are required.

This 6-month paid internship starts soon and requires full-time commitment, with collaboration across logistics, IT and external BI consultants.

Competenze

• Educational background in Engineering, CS, Statistics or Economics.
• Basic experience with SQL and Python.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills (English).
• Languages: Italian and English mandatory.

Your Role

The candidate will play a key role inside the Group Logistics Intelligence function, supporting the Business Analytics & AI project streams as well as the ongoing weekly operations.

We’re not looking for a purely technical profile (like a developer) but it’s important to find someone with:

• Some familiarity with programming languages like Python & SQL
• Some exposure to standard BI methodologies and tools like PowerBI / Tableau

Main Responsibilities

• Support in the execution of advanced analytics projects and their implementation across the logistics footprint
• Support in the project management of Business Intelligence initiatives, coordinating with internal & external stakeholders
