Luxottica invites applications for a 6-month paid Digital Process Optimization internship at our Operations HQ in Agordo (BL). You will join the BPI team to enable digital continuous improvement, using data analytics, SQL and Power BI to drive quick data-driven decisions.

Expect hands-on projects with IIoT, SPC, and LPA digitalization while learning in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on data analysis, visualization, and collaborating with CI and Operations to deliver actionable

Your Role

We are seeking a Digital Process Optimization intern to join the BPI team supporting Digital Continuous Improvement (D-CI) projects. Our mission is to act as an enabler for CI teams and Subject Matter Experts supporting them with digital tools and data analytics to make quick data-driven decisions, identifying and solving problems before they become critical.

The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives involving IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) implementation, Statistical Process Control (SPC), data-driven efficiency improvements and LPA (Layered Process Audit) digitalization.

• Perform data analysis and visualization using SQL and Power BI

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE:

• Educational background in STEM fields (Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI is a plus)
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis
• Good adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
