Job Description
  • Oversee and manage all logistics operations within the textile free zone, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to optimize supply chain processes and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage warehousing activities, and ensure accurate documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations governing transportation and materials handling, including hazardous goods.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers, customs officials, and regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze logistics data and prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and utilization of the company’s fleet and equipment within the free zone.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols to ensure the secure handling and transportation of materials.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within a free zone or textile industry.
  • Proven track record in managing logistics operations for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and transportation regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and documentation.
