You will be managing the logistics operations of Reckitt Italy. You will be actively contributing to the Supply Services’ objectives in terms of Service Level, Logistic Costs and Quality compliance.
For Reckitt Hygiene, you will oversee the logistic operations (Freight-in, Warehousing, and 3PL management) of the Mira Automated Warehouse, operated by Reckitt staff with support from a local Handling Cooperative, with approximately 30 indirect FTEs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver business results in line with targets on Service Level, Logistic Costs, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Manage the logistics team of 6 people based in Mira (Venice).
- Define and monitor KPIs to oversee the 3PL’s operational activities.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and productivity; lead continuous improvement projects.
- Run tenders and negotiations with 3PLs, in close contact with Reckitt HQ Logistic Procurement.
- Provide timely and accurate logistics reports on costs and KPIs.
- Own the Yearly Financial Planning, Quarterly Forecasting, and month-end closure processes for logistics, ensuring reliable data backed by a solid understanding of the business. Manage budget controls.
- Ensure H&S compliance.
- Ensure all requirements are met during internal and external audits (Finance, Stock, Quality, Regulatory).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in Logistics.
- Ability to understand and use ERP planning systems and WMS.
- Experience in negotiating supply agreements.
- Fluency in Italian; English is a plus.
