Logistic Manager

Position

In order to strengthen our Logistics Team, we are looking for a Logistic Manager.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and optimization of logistics operations across our organization on a global scale.

This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation management, and inventory control, combined with a hands-on and proactive approach to ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence throughout the entire logistics flow.

Key responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day management of Planning, Customer Service, and Warehouse departments, with a focus on continuous improvement within the supply chain
2. Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
3. Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle
4. Direct, optimize, and coordinate the improvement of IT tools within the department
5. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
6. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
7. Arrange warehouse layout, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments
8. Supervise, coach, and train the warehouse workforce
9. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
10. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
11. Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
12. Monitor supplier performance to key metrics and liaise with the company’s manufacturing plants and suppliers to support continuous improvement in quality, cost, delivery, and service
13. Ensure that all departmental activities identify, manage, and implement initiatives for continuous improvement
14. Assist in the coaching and development of team members

Requirements

1. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role within the automotive industry
2. Strong knowledge of automotive supply chain processes
3. Experience with transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse operations
4. Proficient in logistics and ERP systems
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple logistics partners and service providers
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customers
8. Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and incoterms
9. Capability to monitor and improve KPIs related to logistics performance (cost, delivery time, accuracy, etc.)
10. Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus
11. Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
12. Leadership ability and experience managing cross-functional teams
