Position: Localisation Quality Manager

We are seeking a Quality Manager for our Enterprise clients who will drive quality initiatives for both human and machine translation workflows, work with translators, and directly with our top clients in the digital space.

This is an in-house position at our Headquarters in Rome.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage quality activities for clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Set quality requirements for human and MT output, train and monitor linguists.
• Implement machine translation quality improvement activities.
• Report on quality metrics internally and to clients.
• Handle quality feedback and escalations.
• Collaborate with Community Managers and Data Scientists to recruit resources, negotiate rates, and improve MT engine behavior.
• Create innovative processes leveraging AI and technology to measure translation quality.
• Utilize data-driven strategies for quality enhancement.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in the localization industry, focused on Quality Management.
• Excellent knowledge of English and preferably another language.
• Strong computer and web skills.
• Experience with automatic quality estimation for MT and translation quality best practices.
• Analytical skills to define and implement improvement plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluid intelligence and high work ethic.
• Preferred: experience in teaching/training; studies in business, management, or translation.
