To join its team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde: Cascina Burrona), the candidate will be responsible for finance IT applications in the assigned area. With the support of the Group IT Finance team, the role involves maintaining and deploying business applications related to processes managed with:
AX V2012
Reporting to: Managing Director
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Maintain Finance, Purchasing, and Stock Management modules of AX V2012 and other production software.
- Develop ad-hoc projects to address specific needs of Italian group companies.
- Identify new Finance IT projects that can add significant value to the business, enhancing the use of AX and other solutions for maximum ease and productivity.
- Consult with business stakeholders and develop relationships with IT and business units to understand and evaluate current processes and translate business needs into ERP system requirements.
- Provide technical expertise for system specifications and deploy new and existing systems, ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives.
- Develop innovative solutions to business problems, considering business impact and prioritizing work accordingly.
- Configure system settings, plan and execute testing phases, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer, including detailed functional specifications and training materials.
- Drive cross-functional process improvements, ensuring alignment with standards and quality systems.
- Ensure all IT systems/applications meet software validation and security policies.
- Respond to incidents and user requests within their job area.
- Lead workshops and coordinate stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications - Hard Skills & Experience:
- Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Purchasing, Procurement, and Stock Management modules, preferably of AX V2012 (experience with SAP or other ERPs is relevant).
- 2-5 years supporting IT business applications.
- Experience with ERP systems and integrations.
- Training and workshop facilitation skills, with end-user interaction experience.
- Functional knowledge of accounting flows.
- Fluent in English.
- Understanding of technical architecture and development languages.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced level).
