We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Litigation Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims (typically via small claims procedure) to lead in-court collections. You may own or want to open your own boutique law firm in Italy. Pre-court collections are managed by a team of paralegals. You will be responsible for filing batches of court cases to recover compensation and/or reimbursement of Out-of-Pocket Expenses (OPE) incurred by passengers and/or recover ticket refunds. AirAdvisor currently handles three types of airline claims: EU261 compensation for flight delays, cancellations, and denied boarding, and three types of baggage claims under the Montreal Convention: lost, delayed, and/or destroyed luggage.
If the law or a judge decides the case unfairly, we may escalate this to change the law where feasible. There may be PR opportunities regarding court victories and essential legal issues to raise public awareness. This is an excellent opportunity for high performers who can self-perform, have strong litigation experience, and advocate for consumer rights in the airline industry.
The candidate must be free from conflicts of interest and able to litigate against different airlines.
