Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking an Engineering Manager - Linux Hardware Enablement based in Italy. You will lead a distributed team working at the intersection of Linux software and hardware, collaborating with silicon partners to optimise Ubuntu across the stack from kernel to desktop.

The role combines people leadership, technical direction, partner management, and hands-on problem solving across IoT, PC, and server platforms.

Competenze

Experience with Linux distributions and Ubuntu/Debian packaging.
Experience leading software teams including coaching and performance development.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and customer/partner communication.
Excellent English communication skills.

Mansioni

Lead a distributed team delivering Ubuntu integrations for IoT, PC, and server hardware.
Provide technical leadership across the Linux stack for hardware enablement and features.
Build relationships with partners and ensure project milestones are met.
Oversee engagements and maintain quality and reliability standards.
