ESYEN is seeking two System Administrators to support the Galileo program, deploying and managing IT infrastructure across Europe. The role requires Windows and Linux expertise, virtualization, networking, and automation skills. You will collaborate with ESA/EUSPA and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Travel within Europe is required, and relocation is covered. A degree in CS or related field plus 2+ years of experience are expected, with fluency in English.

• Experience in space, aerospace, telecommunications, or similar domains preferred.
• Proven ability to deploy and manage high-availability IT infrastructures.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a complex IT environment (space, aerospace, telecommunications, or similar)

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Windows & Linux system administration
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.G., VMware)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (routing, switch configuration, firewall, VPNs)
• Proficiency in automation & scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across departments
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Eligibility

• For security clearance
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required

WHAT YOU WILL DO

IT Infrastructure Deployment & Management

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures, including servers, networking devices, cryptographic systems, and key IT services
• Setting up and managing containerized services
• Ensuring the integration and testing of new software and hardware releases before deployment

Testing & Compliance Support

• Assisting in penetration tests and IT security audits to evaluate system robustness and compliance
• Supporting the delivery of Galileo's navigation message, ensuring the infrastructure meets strict operational standards

Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Participating in anomaly investigations, change control boards, and system migrations to enhance system performance
• Collaborating with ESA, EUSPA, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with mission requirements and industry best practices

Annual salary range 30k-50k depending on relevant experience plus relocation expenses in case of relocation to other countries
