The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Lifestyle Bartender.

The Bartender will report to the Bar Manager and will join a team of passionate professionals.

This is a seasonal, full-time role (40-hour workweek, 5 days, 2 days off), from June to December 2025.

This opportunity allows you to work in an environment of art and elegance, blending history, culture, and Venetian style. The Gritti is renowned for exceptional service, culinary excellence, and wellness, serving as a hub for international events like the Biennale, Carnival, and Venice Film Festival.

The impact you’ll make

You are a creative mixologist, always exploring new beverage trends. Behind the bar, you create an energetic and welcoming atmosphere, offering a diverse, seasonal beverage menu, engaging conversations, and helpful suggestions, ensuring guests look forward to relaxing with you.

What you’ll do

• Welcome guests and attend to tables and the bar
• Prepare cocktails, serve wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic drinks
• Prepare garnishes and appetizers
• Stock ice, glassware, and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area
• Process payments and complete cashier reports
• Follow SOPs and brand guidelines

What we’re looking for

• Excellent storytelling skills in English
• Experience in luxury bartending is a plus
• Reliability, motivation, positivity, and outgoing personality
• Passion for luxury bartending

This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in uniform. Safety training and certification are mandatory prior to employment.
